Zenefits | 2019 to present

Zenefits is an SF-based tech company offering HR SaaS to help Human Resources and small business owners manage their workforce. I launched and run Workest.com, Zenefits' top organic channel. Workest is frequently cited as the best free resource for small- and mid-sized business (SMB) owners and HR managers.

Bay Area Rapid Transit | 2013 to 2019

Developed and launched BART's content marketing program, BARTable, targeting leisure riders and tourists. Handled and grew all digital properties including management of the website (bart.gov/bartable); social media channels (23,100 followers), and weekly email newsletter (110,000 subscribers).

Editor at The Garden Island Newspaper | 2010-2013

Started as a reporter, promoted to Special Sections Editor, and then Managing Editor.

As editor, I oversaw all aspects of the newsroom. Under my leadership, TGI won six Pai Awards from the Hawaii Publishers Association for: Design (two), Special Section Excellence, Investigative Reporting, Online Reporting and Spot News. Named the Most Positive Impact Employee for the company.
